We publish what is documented — never what is assumed. Any DNA test, screening or veterinary result specific to an individual cat is displayed on that cat's profile, not presented as a blanket claim.
Our Approach
Documented, not declared
Genetic screening and health testing depend on the individual cat and the appropriate veterinary and laboratory pathway. The panels below are examples of the tests that may be performed on our breeding lines. Actual results are attached to each cat's profile as they are issued.
HCM
Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy
Where genetic screening is available and appropriate, results are recorded on the individual cat's profile.
SMA
Spinal Muscular Atrophy
DNA panels are conducted through accredited laboratories when performed; individual results appear on the relevant profile.
PKDef
Pyruvate Kinase Deficiency
Genetic clearance may be conducted on breeding lines. Any result is documented per cat.
